Living by FAITH

........everything that does not come from faith is sin (Romans 14:23).


What is Faith?


I take FAITH to be a full practical conviction about the WILLINGNESS and the ABILITY of God to DO what  He promises in His WORD.

Practical Conviction: It informs and guides all that we do,we live convinced that WE ARE who He says we are, and that WE HAVE what He says we have, that WE CAN DO what he says we can do.

Beyond the tangible: Even when we cannot see it, we are still convinced, because we know He is not a LIAR (Numbers 23:19), we take His word to be TRUE, and though we can see it, we BELIEVE, that why FAITH is assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

First Steps
Just believe......

God is not human that He should lie,

not a human being that he should change His mind.

Does He speak and not act?

Does He promise and not fulfill? 

(Numbers 23:19, NIV)

He is Willing..

In the first chapter of the book of mark, we find a story that is quite famous, the story of the man with leprosy. This is how NIV renders the story:

⁴⁰ A man with leprosy^[a] came to him and begged him on his knees, “If you are willing, you can make me clean.”

 ⁴¹ Jesus was indignant.^[b] He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” ⁴²Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed. (mark 1:40-42, emphasis mine)

Many times, we ask like this guy, is God willing to help us, heal us, provide for us? Most times are certain that He is able to do all that, after all He created all there is, but.................Is He WILLING?

Yes....He is Willing.

Just Trust Him.
